Sheila and David knew they wanted their wedding day to be extra memorable. When they discovered the Grand Velas Resort on the sandy shores of Cabo San Lucas they fell in love with it. So, with the help of their talented planner, Best Brides, they made their destination wedding dreams a reality.
Their day revolved around the natural beauty of the ocean. Playing off the gorgeous colors they included multiple shades of blue and bright coral colors like the magical sunset of Cabo. Both their wedding ceremony and reception overlooked the water making it a true focal point for their day.
Right from the start guests were treated to the cutest rattan welcome bags. They were packed with vacation-inspired goodies from sunglasses to a fan and fun drinks! Their guests had no clue that was just the start of the amazing weekend ahead of them!
The wedding ceremony was something out of a romantic movie. With the water behind them and their favorite people surrounding them at sunset, it was hopelessly romantic. For their ceremony decor, they chose a bright and bold floral installation which was an ombre of white and coral. It reached up to the sky and brought the focus in on Sheila and David. Even with all the beauty surrounding them, they were the main attraction! Sheila looked stunning in her lace wedding dress and David complimented her perfectly in a classic blue suit.
Their wedding reception continued on the elegant design with mismatched blue and white linens. Each place setting felt luxurious with custom menus and gorgeously paired pieces of china. To make it feel more intimate string lights hung up above the space. It was the perfect way to end the night watching the sun fade over the water.
