Before I jump into telling you why it is obvious to me that if you are thinking of a destination wedding or honeymoon spot Puerto Vallarta is the place to go, I’m going to give you a little back story of my love affair with this magical place. For those of you who didn’t know, I was born and raised in Mexico, and even though I had spent almost half of my life in the US, I can still give you the scoop as a “local” on where to travel in Mexico. I have the most amazing childhood memories of the gorgeous landscapes and peaceful sunsets of Puerto Vallarta. I spent countless family vacations as a little girl and young adult there and I can tell you that if you really want to experience almost everything Mexico has to offer in one spot, Vallarta is it. Gorgeous beaches, colonial architecture, delicious Mexican food, friendly people, majestic spas, eco-adventures, first-class golf — you name it, Puerto Vallarta has it all!
When I think Puerto Vallarta, i think of a land where sunshine is a mainstay and seaside nuptials are a part of the landscape.
