This gorgeous spring wedding was the perfect mix of laid back and romantic — with lots of personal touches to boot! The steel blues, greens, whites, and pinks gave a soft touch to the decor and the bride looked absolutely stunning in her strapless sweetheart dress. While the elegant and understated cake from Incredibles Edibles Bakery was certainly a showstopper, my favorite detail had to be the personalized beer mugs for the groomsmen — complete with caricatures! The lush floral arrangements and dramatic centerpieces made the whole day feel special, while still being all about the couple and their guests. From the bride… “I've always loved a romantic comfortable feel for a wedding. My goal was to feel as if you were in Italy relaxing with family and friends with hanging tea lights above us. It's my favorite setting. I incorporated farm tables, tea lights, greenery as a runner with flowers, round tables with tall vases of cascading flowers, and lights hanging above the dance floor. Then I wanted to incorporate colors of steel blues, greens, whites, and pale pinks. Our wedding was in May, so I wanted a softer type look. I didn't want anything to look forced for the decorations – I wanted it to look as if everything was meant to be there. We chose Princess Anne Country club for several reasons. We wanted a place where we could have the ceremony and reception at one location, we wanted to be the only wedding on that day, we also wanted to be close to the beach, a venue that catered themselves and Brian wanted to be able to golf. It was perfect!”
