This black and white affair was such a lovely mashup of cultures and family — all wrapped up in a sophisticated wedding package. I loved seeing the couple’s daughters involved in the day and the nods to the groom’s Korean traditions. It was definitely a celebration filled with family, friends, and a room packed with love! The sunset ceremony really set the romantic mood, as did the dramatic gown and the lush greenery paired with all-white flowers — what a gorgeous combination! The cake, simple and chic with black ribbon decorations, was a true show-stopper.

The happy couple tied the knot at the Maya Hotel in Long Beach, where Mayan mystique complemented urban chicness. From an emotional first look by the water to a whimsical ceremony with an enchanted forest atmosphere, Denise and Sam's wedding focused on family and love. Their 10-year-old daughter was not only a junior bridesmaid but she also performed the guitar during the reception to wild applause, and their youngest daughter was one of the flower girls. During the ceremony, the little family came together to do a joint candle lighting before Denise and Sam were pronounced husband and wife.”
