From Christina, the Bride… “My overall vision was to have an elegant Italian theme with natural elements like greenery. The colors were white, gold and light blues. We decided on Lansdowne Resort knowing that we would have a lot of family and friends coming from out of town so we wanted to make sure it was someplace that was easy for everyone. The ceremony and reception could both be held there and people could stay overnight in the hotel. The outdoor space really was what made the final decision. There was so much space to spread out and it overlooked the Potomac River and mountains. Lansdowne Resort is also very close to Virginia wine country. Since Antonio and I are lovers of wine and make trips out to the wineries often we wanted our guests to be able to experience that as well if they wanted.”
