This 1940s supper club-inspired celebration was unique and classy, down to the last detail planned to perfection by Marilyn Ambra Party Consultants. The incredible florals were lush and gorgeous, including heaps of white roses to add to the old-school glamour of the occasion. With the reception sprawling through multiple rooms of the grand venue, a savvy use of drapery and fabrics kept the entire event feeling cohesive and celebratory. The bride and groom brought it all together, with a slick tux and snazzy grey bowtie for him and a romantic, modest dress for the bride. From the Planner… “Jackie and I met first, and we immediately connected. She had a whole collection of wonderful visions for her wedding, and I loved them all. Tony is the sweetest gentleman and shared Jackie’s visions.
Among our concepts, we collectively decided on a 1940’s supper club inspired elegant wedding celebration with a modern twist.
A few of Tony’s favorite things are oysters and a good cup of coffee. So we brought in Hog Island Oyster and had fresh oysters offered during the cocktail reception. An espresso bar in the dessert lounge was a big hit during dancing. We created lushly draped entrances to the various rooms to create an elegant feel of flowing from one space to another.
Our color palette and detail for the ballroom dining tables, and the silver tones and design of the ceremony space with the beautiful fireplace backdrop.
Creating custom designed weddings and events are a team effort, and we had a fabulous team of vendors collaborating with us. The florals by Erica Rose Design were just magical, down to the last rose, and the custom draping by Bright Event Rentals was beautifully done.” — Marilyn Ambra Party Consultants
