I have always loved the idea of a bride & groom exchanging heartwarming gifts. With all the fabulous vintage details being incorporated into weddings, I thought it would be fun to create an old Hollywood glam photo shoot where a gorg bride and a handsome groom exchange gifts with each other surrounded by beautiful colors of autumn. We teamed up with the personalization experts at Things Remembered on this glamorous fall shoot. Think a personalized skeleton pocket watch for him, an engraved charm bracelet with matching jewelry box for her, red roses and gold details.
A rustic theme and a color palette of brown and burnt-orange would've been the obvious choice for our fall shoot. But if you know me, you probably know that neither “obvious” or “rustic” tickles my fancy. While most people associate autumn with earthy colors, I think of autumn and I think burgundy and magentas – it’s just the girly girl in me! Brainstorming for a great theme far away from rustic, I thought red lipstick would be a great addition and that’s how the old-Hollywood glam concept was born. Luckily for me, my friend Marissa from SelaroM Events and Ballroom was there to help me plan and create a sweetheart table with the colors of fall in mind, while Wedding Xpressions Photography captured all the glamorous details. Ella Blu provided the gorgeous lace gown by Allure Bridals for our bride and The Tux Shoppe loaned us an iconic black-tie classic tux for our groom. The always fabulous team at Fiori the Flower Studio brought us some deep red flowers to complement the table were our bride and groom exchanged personalized gifts by Things Remembered.
Chic and beautiful, I love the Double Bezel Set Crystal Toggle Bracelet with Free Filigree Keepsake Box. I mean which girl doesn’t like to get pretty jewelry and an even prettier jewelry box? However, from the two items our friends at Things Remembered sent us, it’s the Gunmetal Skeleton Pocket Watch that really stole my heart. It is such a classic and timeless piece!
I believe a gift is never complete without personalization, and what better way to personalize than to engrave a special message not on both sides of the watch or charm and on the gift box. You could even take total personalization a step further when you create a custom wedding logo with the help of Things Remembered. Engrave your logo on your gifts and then use it on your invitations, thank you notes, as the lighting on your dance floor and more.
We are excited that Things Remembered is giving one lucky Belle The Magazine reader a Skeleton Pocket Watch – just like the one we used in our photoshoot – for you to give to your groom on the big day. They will even include the personalization. Enter the giveaway below and give your groom a gift he’ll never forget.
