With each glowing autumn day, I fall deeper and deeper in love with the rich colors of this special time of year; the golds, the fading greens and those amazing deep purples. So when this ballroom wedding by Mad Chicken Studio came across my desk, you could say I was a tad bit extra excited. Filled to the brim with those captivating colors and satisfying every single one of my seasonal wedding daydreams, image after image is frame-worthy. From the Photographer… “I do not even know where to begin with Will and Kelli‘s wedding, it was our last wedding of the season, and we ended it with a bang! Everything was stunningly gorgeous, especially Kelli. Her wedding dress was perfect, it was like the dress was made for her. Her shoes, her hair, her makeup, the flowers…. all equally as gorgeous. As Kelli finished getting ready, her groom was just on the other side of the door ensuring that all things music were in top shape and ready to go for the ceremony, which he forgot about the second he saw his bride {but really… wouldn’t you?}. The ceremony was so sweet, and had some of the best singing we have ever heard! The best part of the day… the reception! Will and Kelli opted to have a band at their reception, but it wasn’t your typical band. Will has been part of several bands through the years, so they had kind of a mish-mash jam session, and it was so awesome! As the members circulated in and out, every single song sounded like that particular group has been playing together for years, and never stopped. They even had a member of Trampled by Turtles stop by and play most of the evening. I’m going to go ahead a say it… Will and Kelli, they are kind of a big deal. The highlight of the evening was when Will’s Dad joined him on stage, along with a full entourage, and they played together for a song! One of the best moments at any wedding… ever.”
