A Walk In The Garden Engagement Session

Good morning lovelies and welcome back to another wonderful Wednesday! I had planned for you a day full of lovely inspiration from dazzling submissions I had received.
Let's begin the swoon fest with a sweet walk-in-the-garden engagement session and an even sweeter love story. There's not a single second in this e-session captured by Chris Cornwell that isn't stop-you-in-your-tracks beautiful… see for yourself!

I love surprises….umm, who doesn't?  And today’s couple James and Ashley's love story is what surprising dreams are made of. It all started when James surprised Ashley with a trip to New York at Christmas! She’s always wanted to see New York at Christmas and yep, he not only heard but listened. They flew in and stayed at the W Hotel. James booked THE best suite with a wraparound terrace in the middle of Manhattan… What a dream?! They did what most tourist would do – sightsee, ooh and ahhhed at all the lights, buildings, and, of course, a trip down Central Park. A must see, right? Ashley had the day all planned out. But James already had plans. He arranged for the carriage guy to be there waiting so that Ashley would ask if they could take one. Things just fell into place. The carriage stopped at a bow bridge over the lake and again Ashley got excited! The carriage man said to them, “Go walk around, take pictures”. Things were going just perfect. They walked on the bridge with no one in sight. James then dropped to one knee and SURPRISED Ashley with yet another surprise! Ashley started crying as he tried putting the ring on her shaky finger. It was an unforgettable moment ….for sure!
So for their engagement session, they took another trip to Lexington, KY from Florida to have an eventful weekend away. They decided on Ashland, The Henry Clay Estate for its beautiful gardens and grounds. They ended the session at a private horse farm a few miles away with love letters and sweet kisses.
