What do you get when you mix downtown vibes in a desert city and pretty wedding invites? Well, you get this stunning styled shoot. I’ve teamed up with an amazing group of vendors to create an inspiration shoot to show you that the perfect blend of pretty paper details and decor elements can take your big day to a whole new level of personalization and beauty. Think California chic details marries urban feel with a dash of rustic charm. Organic inspired florals, sleek and modern atmosphere, and stylish bridal fashion are perfectly paired with the stunning wedding stationery by Shutterfly! Prepare to fall in love with the beauty captured by Cristina Navarro Photography!
Whether it’s coordinating stationery or your very own mix and match sets…nothing feels sweeter than finding designs that you absolutely love! One of my favorite designs from Shutterfly is A Perfect Match, a pretty style that has a bit of everything – romance, glamour, vintage, modern… it’s a perfect fit for any type of wedding.
Although the suite is available in a great variety of colors, we opt for this stunning floral pattern to use as the inspiration behind these pretty pics. We included it on a lovely Wedding Invitation, a pretty Thank You Card and a matching Address Label all personalized with our model’s name, Sofia and her imaginary fiance, Luke. And since this suite doesn’t include an RSVP card I decided to look for a response card that could harmoniously be integrated with the floral pattern— one of the reasons why I love Shutterfly’s wedding stationery is the ability to mix and match different designs to create your very own wedding invite suite. That is when I found the True Love Forever Wedding Response Card. This particular design is also available in a plethora of color options that makes it easy to match any other design. We opted for a pretty magenta hue to enhance our modern approach and copper foil detail to give it hint of glam.
And to go even further with our demonstration on the mismatched approach, we brought into the mix Love Never Fades Wedding Collection as another wedding invite option. The lovely watercolor detail and the elegant, yet modern fonts are the epitome of “less is more”. I love the ombre effect on the back of the invitations and enclosure cards. The same effect is shown on the front of the thank you notes for a seamless look. Please notice how the mix of both invites brings an eclectic, yet cohesive look that radiates elegance! A total winner!
Shutterfly also carries a great variety of invites for all the occasions surrounding the big day. So I thought, if Sofia and Luke are getting married they would have a rehearsal dinner. What would that party be like? And how would the invite for their rehearsal dinner look? Browsing the super, easy-to-navigate Shutterfly website, I stumbled upon this beauty called Be Married. I love the festive field and the sleek look!
But, the most amazing and coolest product under Shutterfly’s sleeve is definitely their premium, Wedding Photo Books. The leather, the paper, the quality… they are flawless! So of course, we couldn’t leave it out of this project. With their super easy drag and drop functionality, I created a premium photo book to incorporate in our shoot. Designing it was super easy. Shutterfly has so many stunning design templates, but if you want you can simply design your own. However, the best part of the process was opening up the box when the photo book came in the mail. Trust me the final product was beyond gorgeous!
With all the pretty Shutterfly products in hand we found the coolest venue in town, Hotel Indigo to take the pictures. Fiori the Flower Studio blew it out of the water (as always) with the most perfect decor items and stunning florals. We borrowed a gorgeous Martina Liana wedding gown and bridesmaid dresses by Sorella Vita from our friends at Ella Blu. The talented Heather from Deshea Exclusive helped us out with great hair + make-up. And lastly, Cristina Navarro just did such an amazing job capturing the beauty from every element… I’m so proud of having this group of talented local vendors as part of this experience!
So needless to say, allow me to suggest that if you are still on the hunt for the perfect wedding stationery, Shutterfly has a collection that is sure to impress. With countless personalization options including multiple color choices and a gorgeous array of fonts, you’re sure to find exactly what you need.
