How to Plan and Design a Post-Wedding Brunch

The terrible part of your wedding weekend is when it ends! For that reason, post-wedding celebrations can be the perfect way to end the festivities and say farewell to friends and family, especially if they go away to travel. Whether at a vacation rental, a luxury resort, or our lavish venue, brunch is the ultimate memory that your guests will get at your luxurious hotel weekend. Here are some tips to get you started.

1. Invitation for Your Wedding Brunch

Most couples limit the number of guests they invite to brunch. A simple way to do this is to restrict your guest list to hotel stayers one night in advance. You can extend invitations in many different ways, such as attaching a brunch invitation card to gifts that come to the hotel, hanging them on the night in the guest room on dockable, or if you invite all the wedding guests

If selected, you can indicate as much in a wedding invitation suite. However, don't expect RSVPs for post-wedding brunch. Post-wedding brunch is usually a casual affair. Keep this in mind when determining the time of eating. Ideally, 9:30 am to 12: 30am reasonable timeframe for scheduling brunch so that guests can take turns or alternate meals before returning home.

2. Put Someone in Charge of Brunch Planning

While the newlyweds are expected to play the role of hostess in the Brunch after their marriage, it is up to them to help outside. They may decide to split the responsibilities with the parents or hire a wedding planner. It's fun to host many events over the weekend; it can be very taxing if you don't depend on someone to help you.

It is perfect for waking up in the morning after your wedding and walking to a turkey brunch event. A wedding planner will be ready to assist you with everything from communication with the venue and caterer to the final guest count and early morning setup.

3. Decide a Place

For the setting, you can rent a restaurant, keep it in your wedding hotel or, of course, a house. Choose a site that allows you to collaborate with an event planner to personalize menus and decorations.

Be sure to choose a location that is convenient for family and guests. “Since most of your guests will be stopping on the way out of the city, make sure that the location you choose is moveable either from the hotels where you have the blocks or even at the hotels where most of your guests are staying—such as Sonesta hotels near Galleria Mall—choosing a venue that can accommodate at least 75% of your entire guest list, not 75% of your expected guest list.

4. Tablescape

For this special event, we recommend a fresh and clean table-scape design. Minimal flowers, beautiful backdrops, fruity accent pieces are a great combination as they can effortlessly illuminate any space and allow table settings to be simplified.

You can print your beautiful photos of your wedding with the help of Canvaspop and put them around. They are also more budget-friendly than the extravagant floral arrangements you have chosen for your wedding ceremony and reception.

We recommend something like the set below, with gold flatware and perhaps some golden details. This tablescape is meant to echo the soft coral coloured ceilings and green entrance doors. We moreover love this more straightforward design featuring classic white plates and colourful centrepieces.

5.The Bar

Opening the bottle of bubbly with a display of fresh fruit juices allows for unlimited cocktail combinations! Make it easy for yourself! There is no reason to insist on planning another big extravaganza – you have just scheduled your wedding.

Bar set-up can be minimal, just like the table design. Something as simple as a fun straw or a drink container can be perfect descriptions of another great D.I.Y. The alternative is to freeze ice cubes with ice petals inside. They look beautiful and require minimal effort.

5. Add More Drinks

Pre-made drinks such as fruit-filled water and hand-crafted lemonade are also great options! Clear decorative containers with an assortment of pre-made beverages to add even more colour and freshness to your brunch

6. The Menu

Food is an essential part of any brunch. To streamline the planning and dining experience, we recommend one of the following trendy menu set-ups:

•Do not skip on self-service stations and toppings like a waffle bar!

•Pre-plated mini breakfast dishes that allow your guests to have a variety of mouth-watering breakfasts.

Unfortunately, not all of your guests can have the luxury of rejoicing at the final time of a wedding celebration. Whether it's a coffee bar complete with all the fixes or a trail mix station to grab some snacks for the road, you can make sure that all your wedding guests feel welcome to attend, even if it means jumping. A quick farewell before. On a plane home.

8. The Entertainment

Involving some everyday activities to entertain your life is another way to create a brunch of a lifetime. People can only eat so much food! Backyard entertainments like a personalized Jenga, a life-size game of dominoes, or even a lively “ring toss” match can be the perfect way to end your beyond-enjoyable wedding weekend.

Conclusion

We hope that these little tips and tricks for making the perfect wedding brunch helped you get some creative inspiration, and perhaps you have craved every breakfast dinner that ever existed! The main takeaway should be to plan for a relaxed atmosphere. This is a lovely farewell to all your guests, who have made your wedding weekend so memorable, and it is the toast of married life that you are now embarking on.
