With fall in full swing, we are ready to cozy up with a pumpkin latte on one hand and a handful of fabulously gorgeous black-tie wedding by Jamie Ivins Photography on the other…
Location, location
What is more romantic than a fall wedding overlooking the Atlantic Ocean and Newport Bridge with sailboats in the distance and love in the air? Absolutely nothing. And, that is why we adore Kendall and Lawrence's Belle Mer- New England nuptials. The gorgeous waves and majestic sunset made for a stunning backdrop to a lifetime of memories. Transitioning from an outdoor ceremony into an indoor reception is not always easy. So, how do you get the perfect balance of outdoor seaside beauty meets indoor sophistication? You added details to tie your look together, of course. Kendall + Lawrence accomplished this transition with style by greeting their guests into a lavish indoor reception with a star fish place card/ favor.
Classic Style with a Touch of Seaside Glamour
Neutral tones are always a favorite for the simple fact that they are classic, which means that they will never create a color palette that you look back and say, “what was I thinking?” Not to mention, neutrals are a clean and sophisticated way to transform a room from ordinary to fabulously extraordinary without extracting attention from the gorgeous couple. Mismatched is a concept we totes adore, but only if done correctly, and in this case, it definitely delivered. These lovely bridesmaids wore the same dress, but all wore completely different necklines, which is a great way to give your besties options without compromising a cohesive look. Men like feeling and looking almost as glamorous as women do and who can blame them when they have stunning counterparts- so wearing a tux to a beach wedding is totally not out of the question.
The Art of Simplicity
The most memorable and the most beautiful details are those that are effortless. Need proof? We have three tiers of delightfully blissful proof that less is more. A classic wedding cake will always be the perfect staple to any themed wedding, which makes it easy to customize according to your personal style, and not to mention, they are budget friendly. As wedding enthusiasts we know that flowers can transform any room, but it was Kendall and Lawrence who perfected the art of transforming their venue by adorning it with lush hydrangeas and rises with a touch of candles.
