If you're a hitched gal, you probably walk into your close and dream of the day you can wear your wedding gown all over again. After all, it's too much of a beauty to be hanging all alone in a garment bag in the very back of a dark closet. Fortunately, we're not alone in the, 'I fantasize about wearing my wedding gown again' department. Event Planner, High Gloss Weddings created a styled shoot that showcased five past brides in their gorgeous gowns.

Continuing with the theme of the unexpected, this amazing Southern Ontario styled shoot was infused with Canadian charm which includes the elements of water, woods, & rustic stone ruins together with the soft elegance of ribbons, flower bouquets of peonies, sweet peas, astilbe, lily of the valley and more, vintage touches, and hints of soft pinks, grays, teals and golds. But, it was the old Harris Mill Ruins that tied these elements together to teach us one important lesson, there is beauty in something out of the ordinary and it can make for a unique wedding idea.

As a lover of love and stories, I was delighted to know that not only were these brides photographed in their once worn wedding gowns, but the photographs also included five vignettes for each bride. The coolest part of this shoot was bringing five different brides who all had five different weddings and wearing their own gown, accessories, and shoes they all made one cohesive look of ribbons and flowers and not to mention, each one showcased some of the most popular and gorge sought out wedding trends... which we absolutely love!

If there is anything we hope you can take from this shoot is that something old can easily become something new, take for example some of the props used, like the chair. It was easily turned into a DIY project, the chair was wrapped in ribbon and finished off with a handmade tissue paper pom pom adorned with a vintage brooch, and it turned out stunning. An old mantel clock was used throughout the shoot and as as old as it was, it made for a fabulous prop. Don't be afraid to shop at your local vintage shop and find the beauty in every item. Vintage is in and even if your theme isn't vintage, vintage accents never hurt a soul. Take the inspiration in!
