As we all know the Kentucky Derby is a quintessential southern event, that showcases fun-vibrant infused traditions with bright colors, bow ties, big hats and pies. So inevitably Barrington Hill Farm was a no brainer when selecting a venue to execute the most fabulous Kentucky Derby inspired wedding shoot you've ever laid those full-lashed eyes on.
So let’s get down to the very fabulous details… The escort card table featured equestrian details with a saddle, horseshoes, bits, prestigious equestrian awards, and stunning Hermes scarfs, while showcasing the beautiful invitation and escort cards, which capture the essence of the Kentucky Derby.
The rustic reception table is a refurbished farm table made from old barn wood, beautifully styled with a navy and white striped runner, luscious florals, and bowtie napkins on mix & match vintage dishes.The place cards are designed as place ribbons. The napkins are tied as Bow Ties and the menu cards feature bowties on top. The dessert table showcases a lace detailed buttercream cake with a sugar peony and hydrangeas. But, what’s dessert without the best southern drinks, Lemonade + Sweet Tea complete with pink, green or blue striped paper straws and bows. The ceremony is kept simple to appreciate the gorgeous oak tree with a beautiful white iron and crystal chandelier.
