Trend #1: Wear Again Looks
Due to the economy, it’s likely that one or more of your bridesmaids will be on a budget. Why not choose a bridesmaid dress that they can wear again? Consider cocktail length styles, as they are often suitable for other occasions. Trend #2: Sashes
Bridesmaid dresses with sashes are a very popular trend for the 2011 wedding season. As color-trimmed wedding dresses will be trendy once again, many brides may try to incorporate the color of their own gown with their bridesmaid dresses. Check out this satin cocktail length bridesmaid dress from Ella Blu, it has a black sashe and the pretties bow detail on the front.
Bringing in grey as a mixer was already something that started emerging in 2010 and will continue into 2011, as will the emerging trend for nudes in the fashion world.
For brides who want a little vibrant color in their weddings this year, one of the hottest choices throughout the fashion industry is dark, violet shades of purple. Happily, this is a color that looks surprisingly well with most complexions, and unless the dress is designed quite poorly, dark purple tends to be fairly slimming the same way black is.
Asymmetrical is one of the biggest trends for the upcoming wedding season. Thus, it is not surprising that off the shoulder will be one of the most popular spring 2011 bridesmaid dress trends. Off the shoulder bridesmaid dresses tend to be long and flowing. Be sure to consider this.
Thank you to the fabulous and amazingly talented people that make this great photo-shoot possible. It’s always a pleasure to work with you!
