Puerto Rico plays host to some of the most jaw-dropping gorgeous weddings I come across and when those weddings are held on a natural observatory, lets just say it is a full on swoonfest up in here. This complete dream of a wedding day was photographed beautifully by Jessica Santiestenan from Ideology Photography and the gorgeous doesn’t stop there. It is woven through fabulous orange tones (stay tuned because I’ll bring you more orange inspiration in a bit) and in a glamorous wedding gown and lovely details to pore over.
FROM THE PHOTOGRAPHER
“The couple got married at the El Parque de las Ciencias, it is an educational and recreational park located in Bayamón, Puerto Rico focused on science-related exhibitions, (both of them are elementary teachers). Some of the main features of the park are a natural observatory set on a hill at 285 feet. The bride got ready at her aunt's apartment located in El Viejo San Juan, one the most traditional and colonial area of the city.
The couple met in Dallas, she is from Puerto Rico, and the groom is from El Paso, but born in Merida, Yucatan Mexico. The wedding was really emotional and original. The father of the groom who is a Christian pastor officiated the ceremony. The couple decided to play and sing a Beatles song “And I Love Her”. It was a great experience to be part of their wedding and to witnessed a lovely couple promising eternal love to each other.“
