We can’t seem to contain our excitement after experiencing one of the most beautiful bohemian inspired backyard shindigs ever, courtesy of our friends at Anna Lee Media! The lovebirds wed in the fall of 2013 in the bride’s sister’s estate in Oklahoma and they did so with style and very unique touches.
But, before getting to this very lovely day, the couple experienced a tres sweet love story. The gorgeous bride, Ashlynn met her beau, Josh through fellow church friends, well she met Josh’s older brother first at a church function. Even though, Josh’s older bro, Ben was cute, nice, + athletic he was indeed married. So as a friendly joke, Ashlynn mentioned to a lady friend that Ben needed to have a brother, not knowing that his younger brother Josh would later become her husband. A few months later, Ashlynn received a text from her lady friend saying that Ben did have a younger brother and that he was equally charming, nice, and oh-so cute. So, curiosity killed the cat and Ashlynn found herself randomly visiting Josh’s church just to get a glance at the cute younger brother & the rest…. well, it’s history!
Fast forward to October of 2013 and you will find this sweet couple tying the knot in an intimate outdoor soiree with 70 of their closest family + friends. Since the ceremony took place in the evening the couple opted for white twinkly lights adorning the natural beauty of the trees with a pretty pendant light that hung over the couple during their ‘I dos,’ while featuring a neutral palette of greys, beige tones, with a few pops of dusty blues & pinks for a romantic and elegant feel.
But, it was the procession song that stole the show, which was written by the groom himself. Josh wrote “Feel Alive Again” specifically for his beautiful bride after dating a few months and even used it while proposing to her. This song talks about how the bride makes him feel alive again, and believe in love again. It was so special that the bride used it to walk down the aisle to.
Enjoy loves!
