This outdoor wedding ceremony is truly one of the most romantic things I’ve ever seen — complete with an actual waterfall, a huge wooden altar decorated with lovely white and pink roses, the whole thing was simply stunning. The couple looked amazing in matching white and they incorporated so many elements of their personality throughout — the wine ceremony and the wooden hearts for guests to write their messages on were particularly nice touches. The whole event planned by In the Clouds Events had a romantic feel, while still being buzzy and fun — it was clear that everyone there was ready for a great time! From the groom… “Before we were looking for locations, we already knew we don't want a ballroom style of wedding, we wanted outdoor/indoor kind of place, Los Angeles such a beautiful city, we want to have every part of it! We made a list of places to visit on a Saturday and Calamigos Ranch in Malibu was our first stop of the day. We fell in love with the wedding venue, the oak room, at our first sight. You have to walk through a beautiful oak trees garden with string lights and chandelier hanging down from the oak trees before you arrive at the beautiful outdoor wood deck with waterfall feature as the backdrop where the ceremony takes place. The interior of the dining space was absolutely gorgeous with bold geometric shaped oakwood finish window frames similar to wayfarers chapel and lots of large floor to ceiling glass allowing you to see the beautiful landscape surrounding the dining space. We also liked the oak tree that sits in the middle of the room and the elegant white fabric drapery ceiling that filters soft lights into the dining space. The design really bring the outside in and blur the boundary between indoor and outdoor space- we thought we were inside a forest and that was the moment we realized we had found the perfect place. We booked the oak room as our wedding venue the next day without hesitation!”
