Feminine Meets Minimalist in this Icy Pastel Wedding Inspiration

Feminine Meets Minimalist inside this winter styled shoot and it is for the best. This stunning icy pastel wedding checks all of our boxes — natural details, warm design, and the ultimate winter ceremony backdrop… a cozy log pile! But what really gave it that winter touch are the perfectly understated flowers from Stone House Creative — the centerpieces and the bouquets both focus on greenery with a few frosted flowers that help set the blue and purple theme. This bride seriously thought of every winter detail, like delicate lace reminiscent of ice at the bottom of her dress and even stylish coats for picture-perfect winter wedding photos! From the creative team…Winnipeg (Canada) is one of the five coldest cities in the world where winter is nearly half our year and many couples aren’t excited about the thought of getting married in the deep freeze. With an icy pastel wedding palette in mind, we created a cozy atmosphere that would encourage our couples to forget about the chilly temperatures and embrace the romance that a winter wedding has to offer.

The rich blue linen from Planned Perfectly grounded our design by complimenting the masculinity of the freshly seasoned firewood that served as the ceremony backdrop from Firewood Manitoba. Once the candles were lit, the snow began to melt into the wood and provided the most amazing smell! The organic wreath and ornate navy rug tied in the rest of the details. The space felt cozy, warm, and natural.”
