The Power of Succulents

Let’s talk about florals, shall we, because I cannot get enough of the use of succulents in the décor!  From the bouquets to the silver candelabra centerpieces, the florals throughout the entire affair were colorful, yet romantic with hues ranging from peaches and apricot to blushes and pink. And they were beautifully complemented with pretty succulents. We are gushing over the wedding favors involving little pots filled with succulents with an adorable “Thank You” banner — not only does it carries the wedding theme, but also it is something all the guests will enjoy to take home.

Three Cakes For a Fine Affair

I do love cake!  I think the only thing I love more than cake is two cakes!  And this reception offered three!  All were exquisitely decorated with golden layers and metallic embellishments. Fine ornamental detailing elegantly dressed up the cakes and paired with purple and peach flowers, it all came together stunningly.

A Subtle Purple Haze

I am a big fan of weddings that pull every aspect together, and as opposed to having the purples simply be, they accentuated the bridesmaids’ gowns.  Pops of purple were sprinkled here and there and it played a subtle seat to the gold and white décor, but it was an important addition, considering the lovely ladies who wore flowy purple dresses.  Along with her girls, the bride herself donned purple velvet heels to compliment her bffs!  Again, cincorporating the same hues throughout all aspects of the wedding makes for a much more majestic affair.

Golden Touches Is Never Big Enough

Gold plates and tableware brought the luxury level up fit for queen!  With such soft colors and a garden like atmosphere, I was in love with the rich touches throughout.  The statement metallic hue played on the various touches in the cake and tableware. Our favorite gold element? The intricate frames for the table numbers! Clearly we cannot be afraid to go big!
