What’s a girl to do when every last wedding she sees makes her head spin with total wedding glee? Well, she mixes all of the ideas together into one, gorgeous fete that would make any wedding snob swoon with undeniable delight. Which is exactly what this Texas bride did with a style that is modern and chic, timeless and classic, glamorous and fabulous…all rolled up into one picture perfect Destination wedding in New Orleans. With photographs by Joie du Jour Photography, planning by Rock The Diamond and floral design by Kim Starr Wise Floral Events , I'm doing some serious wedding cartwheels over here. And don’t even get me started on that Watters dress. Beyond words. Beyond.
FROM THE BRIDE, ASLEY… “Michael and I met through his sister. His younger sister (Meghan) and I played softball together and were friends in junior high. Michael decided he liked me once I got into High School. I guess I was just a dorky little kid until I matured 😉 We dated a little bit in HS but nothing serious. I went to LSU and he went to UT and then A&M. We always remained friends and Christmas Break 06 (I believe) we got together and have been ever since. Currently we are living in Cypress Tx-outside of Houston. I work for Waste Management and he works for ADT Home Security and is finishing up his degree at University of Houston. Everything for us happened at once. We found out we were pregnant a few weeks after we went “ring” shopping. So we went ahead and got legally married and wanted to wait for the ceremony. Liv is 11 months and will be a year in September. The wedding is at Christ Church Cathedral at 7:00PM and then onto Broussard’s until 11PM where a Second Line Band will show up at 11. Flowers are shades of purple and magenta. Bridesmaid dresses are royal blue and linens are royal blue. We will have a live band (Top Cats) and our main goal is for people to have fun!”
