Editorial and Social Media Policy

Belle The Magazine regularly shares images that we do not hold the copyright to, except where otherwise noted. The copyright of each image belongs to the respective photographer credited. We try to make every effort to include proper sources and links to where we find photos for our post. If you notice a photo that is not properly credited, we welcome you to contact us via email with that information. We believe in giving credit where credit is due. And we welcome the opportunity to provide proper credit.

Furthermore, if you're a photographer who finds a photo of yours on our site that you'd rather us not use, we'd be more than willing to take the photo down. Again, simply email us and we'll happily take it down.

Some Photos used on Belle The Magazine are believed to be readily available in the public domain and used under the protection of the US. Copyright Fair Use Act. We are not responsible for the republishing of the content found on this blog on other Websites or media without our permission. This privacy policy is subject to change without notice.

In addition to editing and reviewing all editorial content, I also personally screen applications for each sponsor we accept. The integrity of the BTM brand is far more important to me than money, so know that I only accept sponsorship requests from companies that I truly believe are right for the site and for all of you lovely readers. With that in mind, please know that we do publish sponsored posts on the site, which are clearly noted, and we also do promote brands and products that we adore.

To be clear, any time Belle The Magazine accepts money for promoting a company, a vendor or a product, we will disclose it. There are also times where we link to products (either on the site on via our social media accounts), and if you decide to purchase the product or other products on that site, we receive a commission. If you don’t purchase anything, or if you purchase something and return it, we don’t receive any compensation. Currently, we partner with the service rewardStyle to promote products we love from awesome companies such as Asos, Shopbop, Net-A-Porter and more. If you see a link that says “rstyle.me”, that’s a link where we receive commissions if you purchase something from the site. If you have any questions about this, feel free to email me!

At times, work from the Belle The Magazine sponsors will be featured in real weddings and other features; however, unless specifically disclosed as a sponsored post, these features and links are solely based upon the quality of the work and are not paid editorial content. Sponsorship does not in any way guarantee editorial coverage, and sponsors do not receive any preference with regard to editorial consideration.
