Oh, Hawaii. I love you. Your perfect temps, your breathtaking sunsets, your beautiful scenery… it all makes for such a stunning backdrop for THE big day. Not to mention the cute as can be couples that seem to flock to your gorgeous locale. They have a way of always, ALWAYS delivering the pretty – and this beautiful Yokohama Bay (known for its friendly dolphins) affair? Well, it’s a prime example with its sweet carefree vibe, vibrant turquoise + magenta color palette, the prettiest ombre bridesmaid dresses I've ever seen and beyond-amazing images from Ryan Cason Photography…. even a few mermaids decided to make an appearance for their big day!
From the photographer… “Brianna and Joe are two surfers, born and raised in Florida and Pennsylvania, respectively. They met in Hawaii in 2008, remained good friends for quite awhile, before getting engaged on a mountain top in February on Bri's birthday! They decided to hold their wedding at Yokohama Bay, known for its breathtaking sunsets and friendly dolphins. As you can see, a few mermaids decided to make an appearance for their big day as well!
Splashes of blue, turquoise, green, and purple completed the couple's marine color scheme. The ceremony was a traditional Christian ceremony, held on the beach (bare feet only!) as the sun went down. After the vows were said, and the last bit of light disappeared, guests were invited to relax at a Hawaiian luau, dance, partake in a “shave ice” cupcake, and serenade the happy pair!Brianna and Joe will continue to reside somewhere over the rainbow…living happily ever after.”
