Chandeliers and Outdoor Weddings

If the weather is right, there’s nothing like an outdoor wedding – whether it’s a ceremony, cocktail hour, or reception – the scenery is incomparable.  And although a garden setting delivers plenty of charm all on it’s own, a few glamorous accents never hurt. And one of my favorite glamy accents has to be a good chandelier – they’re oh-so-sparkly and romantic, and they bring a touch of vintage sophistication to any celebration…. basically they're pure magic! Here are a few dazzling ways to incorporate chandeliers into your outdoor nuptials.

Strung from a sturdy tree branch. (image sources: 1 | 2 | 3 | 4 ) Enhance your venue's assets and add some sparkle to the trees.

Hanging from a patio celling. (image sources: 1 | 2 | 3 | 4 & 5 | 6 ) The structures (patios, kiosks, etc) at your venue not only can protect your guest from the weather, but they are also a great place to display some crystal chandeliers.

Strung from a tent frame. (image sources: 1 | 2 ) If your venue is more like an open-field consider bringing a tent or gazebo frame to hang the chandeliers.

Hanging from a string. (image source) You can also just use some string to bring the chandeliers to your wedding decor mix.
