{Real Wedding} : Cindi + Carlson in Puerto Vallarta

Ladies and gentlemen, this is a wedding you must sit down for. Aside from the stunning contemporary location called Casa China Blanca (featured in the movie Limitless) in Punta de Mita, just south of Puerto Vallarta, there are SO MANY amazing details wrapped up in this dazzling destination affair captured by Happinest Photography, I am not even sure where to begin. The damask theme, the vibrant flowers, the aerial acrobats, the spicy cuban quartet, the incredible fire dancers, the yummy taco stand for late night snacks, the favor bags filled with freshly made churros…this  couple sure knows how to host a shindig!  And their wedding film, captured by Eduardo Reyes, just goes to show they not only know how to throw a good soiree, they do so in style!

And a seriously STUNNING look at the day from Eduardo Reyes… Enjoy!

Cinematographer, Eduardo Reyes share a few details about the event with us:
Cindi and Carlson – Michael actually, but Cindi met him as Carlson (his last name) and it stuck – wanted their wedding to reflect themselves; whimsical, fun, spontaneous, unique, warm, travel, loving, elegant, perfectionists. Cindi and Carlson chose the beautiful, contemporary Casa China Blanca in Punta de Mita (the house was featured in the movie Limitless), just south of Puerto Vallarta, as the location to host their wedding. The villa lends itself to formality with clean lines and white modern architecture, but also is like a clean palette open to various designs and colors. Cindi wanted to use the villa's elegant base of white and black and add in big pops of color and whimsy to make it her own. Formal tuxedos for Carlson and the groomsmen were finished off with a bright fuchsia dendrobium orchid boutonnieres; floor length Amsale gowns in black for the bridesmaids were paired with bright bouquets of roses, freesias, tulips and dendrobium orchids in hot pink and fuchsia with touches of orange and apple green; and an absolutely stunning wedding dress creation by Lazaro for Cindi was complemented by a cascading bouquet of white roses, freesias, lisianthus, tulips and dendrobium orchids. The moment Cindi & Carlson saw the two trees in the back gardens overlooking the ocean and heard the history, they knew the ceremony had to be held right there. The trees had grown together and become entwined making it hard to see where one began and the other one finished….much like their love, the two became one…. straight out of a fairytale! Flower balls were hung in bright bold colors on the tree limbs and added lanterns (Cindi’s favorite) to complete the look of a fantasy, deconstructed, ceremony backdrop. They exchanged their vows in front of that charming tree with the ocean behind them and their friend, the “Love Ambassador” officiating. As they exited down the aisle all the guests tossed fuchsia and black, hand rolled wedding streamers at the happily married couple, a fun alternative to rice or confetti. In the reception area an air of formality was created by using elegant black and white Damask overlays on top of black tablecloths and black Chivari chairs with white cushions. The Damask theme could be seen throughout the wedding design in the picture framed escort cards, the place cards and custom dinner menus. The elegance was balanced with color and whimsy with tall over the top balls of bright flowers for the centerpieces and fuchsia detailing. That same whimsical fun carried on with the entertainment and other elements throughout the whole reception with Aerial Fabric and Hoop Acrobats, a spicy Cuban Quartet, incredible Fire Dancers, a yummy Taco Stand for late night snacks and a farewell exit of sparklers and monogrammed favor bags filled with freshly made sweet churros…. Truly a beautiful and unique wedding that will be long remembered! The short film shows a lot of the beautiful details of the wedding.
